Some additional clarification is in order.

Ms. Vivian Dunbar’s letter to the editor in last week’s Eagle and Times, “Some Clarification is in Order,” erroneously represented that voting officials will not accept ballots without the “contact information” of the person harvesting/collecting the ballot. If only this were true. Unfortunately, CA Elections Code sec. 3011(c) specifically says that failure to disclose this information will not disqualify a ballot.
