City Council Expresses Sadness for Challenges Occurring in Our Country and Stay Committed to Keeping Residents Safe.

As Mayor, I join with the members of the City Council in expressing our sadness for the events that have impacted communities in San Diego County and throughout the United States.

The City Council met virtually with representatives of the Sheriff’s Department to evaluate the situation, and the City of Imperial Beach is monitoring for any potential events. We are remaining diligent during these challenging times, and are committed to keeping our community safe.

If you see anything that concerns you, please contact our local division of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department by calling 858-565-5200 for non-emergencies, and/or 911 for an emergency.

We remain committed to serving each and every one of you and hope that you remain healthy and safe.
