Eileen Murray McGrath

Eileen McGrath passed on Sept. 5, 2017 in Coronado and will be greatly missed.

Eileen was born on Jan. 18, 1946 in Belfast, Northern Ireland to William and Mary Murray.

Eileen immigrated to the U.S.A. in 1964 and became a resident of Imperial Beach in 1980. Eileen never met a stranger and was well known and loved by the community. She enjoyed gardening, hiking nature trails, time with family and friends and most especially, shopping at thrift stores. 

She is predeceased by her parents and her husband Gary Seitz.

Eileen is survived by son Vince (Monice) Rappa; grandchildren Stazia Rappa and Vincent Rappa; great-grandson Clash Rappa; siblings Bill Murray, Anne Murphy, John Murray, Brian Murray, Louise Hamilton, Rita Baldwin, Lorraine Arzon; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life to honor Eileen will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017 at the Fleet Reserve 289 located at 659 Silver Strand Blvd, Imperial Beach from 2 to 4 p.m. Please stop by and share a memory or two.
