Bunco By The Beach ...

What a great event we had with the October 1, 2022 “Bunco by the Beach” hosted by the Imperial Beach Woman’s Club – Evening Section. The event was held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Imperial Beach Library Community room. We had 28 tickets sold with 20 players showing up for a great time. We had a 38 raffle prizes – 19 gift cards (donated by our members); nine gift baskets (put together by Nellie Hazel and Terri Stone) and 10 additional raffle prizes that were tumblers donated by Identity Theft Recovery Center and filled with candy by Seaside Candy. Each ticket purchased included six raffle tickets. Players that were there had the opportunity to purchase additional tickets. Thank-you to the committee that worked on this event – Connie Criswell Chair, Terri Stone, Nellie Hazel, Karen Odermatt, Valerie Acevez and Wilma Bottomley. Thank you to Candy Ramirez for all her help on the day of the event. The club raised almost $700!
