Visitor Center Reopens ...

First-time visitors Judy and Bruce Kronmiller from Lafayette, California, were the first visitors to walk in the Visitor Center after it was closed for 15 months. They are birders who were eager to spot some light-footed Ridgway’s rails. Senior Park Aide Joyce, standing between them, is at the Visitor Center to greet everyone and answer even obscure questions. The Visitor Center is open from Wednesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., 301 Caspian Way The parking lot and restrooms are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Bird Walks are set to resume in August. Please wear a face-covering to enter the Visitor Center if you have not been vaccinated.
