Bike the Bay, the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition’s annual event, returns on Aug. 22, 2021. In its 14th year, the event will bring thousands of cyclists together along the San Diego Bay.

In addition to a rare opportunity to ride over the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge, participants will pass through Coronado, San Diego, National City, Imperial Beach and Chula Vista on a 25-mile route. Following the ride, participants can celebrate the joys of cycling with other riders at a post-ride party at Embarcadero Marina Park.

Bike the Bay supports the San Diego County Bike Coalition’s mission of advocating for and protecting the rights of all people on bikes from Imperial Beach to Oceanside. The annual event brings cyclists together to share in the joy of riding during a family-friendly ride.

The event will begin on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 7 a.m. and finish at about 11 a.m. with a post-ride after party with entertainment and beer gardens galore. The ride will start and finish at the Embarcadero Marina Park.
