Want to stay healthy while staying at home? Announcing Farmer’s Market boxes, available for order and pick up at the IB Neighborhood Center, 455 Palm Avenue.

Their goal is to make getting healthy fruits and vegetables from local farmers as easy as possible. Since the coronavirus and stay at home orders, SunCoast has heard from many of you that you want help getting fresh and local produce in the safest way possible. They listened, and in the spirit of cooperation, have partnered with Speciality Produce to bring the Farmer’s Market into your home.

Your box will include sustainably sourced produce from over a dozen California farms each week for $20. You can even add some of your other favorite local items, like eggs, cheese, honey (and even chocolate) for an additional charge. Place your order online by midnight Sundays at www.suncoastmarket.coop/producebox. Place your order online using group code “SunCoast.” No obligation to order each week, the frequency is up to you.

SunCoast hopes that this will meet a key need in the community during this difficult time. Ordering is open to all. If you have questions, you can email info@suncoastmarket.coop.
