The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce will have Imperial Beach Mayor Serge Dedina as their guest speaker for their September meeting. It will be an informative talk about what the city is doing to help businesses and the community right now. He will also touch on the sewage problem, the current progress and how the business community can help on that.

The meeting will take place at the Fleet Reserve Association 289, at 659 Silver Strand Boulevard, on Thursday, Sept. 23. Breakfast will be served and the meeting will go from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The cost is $10 per person. For more information, visit
