This year’s National Estuarine Research Reserve System (NERRS) annual meeting went virtual, but they still rolled out the red carpet for the 2020 NERRS annual filmfest celebrating Reserves and our coast!

Tijuana Estuary’s Virtual Junior Rangers Dual Language Exploring Weather and Climate video won the Ctenophore Award for Special Effects in this year’s National Estuarine Research Reserve System’s 2020 Film Festival! It was the only bilingual video in the hour long broadcast.

Almost two hours of videos were submitted, and on Friday, Oct. 23, the filmfest debuted on the NERRA (National Estuarine Research Reserve Association) Facebook Page with just over an hour’s worth of excellent submissions, all of which are worth watching.

So get that popcorn ready and watch the 60-minute, 2020 NERRS Film Festival. You can check out all of the 2020 film submissions on NERRA’s YouTube channel.
