Beginning Dec. 7, the Imperial Beach County Library Branch, along with all 33 branches of the San Diego County Library, switched service modes and started providing Walk-up Door-side service, five days of the week. This service is being provided Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Even with the doors closed, San Diego County Library engages our communities.

Storytime Shorts featuring your favorite library staff reading books and singing songs
Book Shorts featuring library staff sharing their favorite titles
eBooks and audiobooks are available 24/7 with special collections curated for various ages, genres, and hot topics

Virtual Programs This year, with public health a priority, San Diego County Library offered our Summer Learning program in a virtual learning experience accessed at sdcl.org/summer featuring learning opportunities like science experiments, gardening, crafts, and more. This is still available.
Libby (Overdrive) provides access to eBooks and digital audiobooks
In April, we added 125 magazine titles to the Libby app. Now in December, we provide access to 3000-plus magazine titles in different languages

And now JobNow and VetNow- To assists with a wide range of career and veteran needs: crafting a resume, writing a cover letter, practicing for a certification test, navigating the VA system, or adjusting to a civilian career.
And if you have any materials in your possession, do not worry! They have extended the due date for all San Diego County owned library materials to Feb. 3, 2021. You can still bring back your materials before the due dates. Returns are accepted anytime during open hours.
