The Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce has been busy over the last four months catching up from the long pandemic months of COVID-related issues and working with IB businesses, helping them stay open and be able to comply with the ever changing rules.

The Chamber, like many of us, is very happy to be able to participate once again in events, their popular breakfasts, and mixers. Recently, the Chamber just finished the Taste of IB, and coming up is a Grand Opening/Mixer on Thursday, Oct. 28, and the Halloween Monster Bash on Oct. 30. There have been many new businesses in town and the Chamber is trying to visit and get in touch with as many as they can. New business is great for Imperial Beach and the Chamber welcomes them.

As the Chamber moves forward, there have been a few changes on the executive board. October 13, 2021 the Board of Imperial Beach Chamber of Commerce voted to remove the then Chamber president Dante Pamintuan and Chamber treasurer William Long from the their positions on the board. This decision was not made lightly and was difficult for the board to make. Their actions did not align with the mission of the Chamber, and for the good of the Chamber, business community, members, other nonprofits, and the City, it was the best choice for moving forward.

The IB Chamber is looking toward the future and hopes you can join them on this journey.
